This short book is about what the CDC terms Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES). When a person is so distraught/dysregulated it is sure that they suffered a trauma, sometimes so early that they are unaware of what it was. Please search online for “can trauma catalyze bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.” If one does not see the person then they do not see the child. And if they do not see the child, its message does not convey.
